Town Council Meetings – Covid-19 pandemic
The Council are unable to hold their scheduled public meetings during the Covid-19 “lockdown”, while rules regarding public gatherings, social distancing and essential work/travel are in place.
The Council will be relying on a delegation scheme whereby essential business can be authorised by the Clerk with written agreement of Councillors, this will allow such things as invoices to be paid and essential maintenance to be carried out. All business conducted under this delegation will be included in a report to the Council when they are able to hold their next public meeting, and therefore minuted accordingly.
